Welcome to School of the Shepherds 104: Counsel of God. This course is a survey of essential doctrines an elder must know and be able to teach. The purpose of this course is to ensure you are biblically and theologically qualified to lead God’s church.
In the previous course, we examined all the biblical qualifications for pastoral eldership. In this fourth course, we will focus on the qualification “able to instruct in sound doctrine and refute false teachers” (Titus 1:9). The lessons in this course will cover the mountain-peak passages of the Bible.
